Philosophy of Education Webster defines philosophy as a critical study of fundamental beliefs and the grounds for them. In this philosophy, I will be talking about the three great philosophers: Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. These three philosophers represent the birthplace of Western philosophy. Socrates, which is synonymous with wisdom and the philosophical life, was a teacher without a school. His goal was to help others find the truths that lie within their own minds. He helped his students reach deeper, clearer ideas by questioning, disproving, and testing the thoughts of his pupils. His teachings offended many of the powerful people of his time. They believed he was corrupting the youth in Athens.
Therefore, through the uses of character foil, characterization, and the theme of society in equality, Lee was able to accurately depict her view of the white society in Maycomb by the characters in this novel. The story begins in the house of the Time Traveler. He says to a group of people it is possible to travel through time. The group of people doesn't believe him, so he shows them a working model of the Machine. He makes it disappear into the future. Next week the same group of people return. They can't find the Time Traveler. After a while he comes, and says he has been traveling through time. He tells his story. At first the time moves a bit faster than normal. He can see someone entering the laboratory very quick. Then the time starts moving more quickly. The laboratory disappeared. When he stopped the machine, he was in a sort of garden in a new world. 802701 Description of the New World. The human race was split in to parts, the Eloi and the Morlocks. Eloi saw him, and they found him interesting. He is taken to a building and can eat. When they loose interest he discovers his Time Machine is gone. He thinks it is put in a white Sphinx. Then he rescues a little female Eloi, Weena. She appreciates it and follows him everywhere. He discovers how the world works. He tries to find his Time Machine. At a time he is in the forest with Weena. They are surrounded by Morlocks, and it's getting late. He has built a campfire. He escapes because the forest is burning, but he lost Weena. He goes to the white Sphinx and starts destroying it. He can enter it and he sees the time machine. When he approaches it he discovers it is a trick to get hem there. Quickly he jumps in the time machine and disappears. He stops 30 million years later. The earth has completely changed and all intelligent creatures have disappeared. Then he returns to our time. The Time Traveler tells to the group of people they may believe it if they want it. He isn't sure of it himself anymore. The next day someone from the group returns. The time Traveler tells him to wait. When he wants to tell to the Time Traveler he has to go, the Time Traveler and his Machine have gone.

The book was written during the industrial revolution, during that time people became more open minded and open to new ideas. The time machine shows how people thought and acted during that period.as an example in the beginning of the story the time traveler invites his friends during supper and talk about the fourth dimension, this kind of talk shows how people were civilized. Also the way the time traveler acted throughout the story give an indicator of how people were and how they are trying to find answers for everything. The time traveler is a perfect example of a regular person living at that time, throughout the story he seems to be observing and trying to draw conclusions about every detail. The time traveler seems to think in a scientific and a pessimistic way.
Southwest Airlines' internal culture is what sets it apart from others in the airline industry. Each employee is given the general guidelines of their responsibilities and role in the company and then encouraged and expected to go outside those guidelines. The more the employees are involved with the company, the more successful it will be.
Southwest Airline’s greatest strength is their financial stability. They are able to maintain profits even when the industry is in economic crisis. Their financial success is in large part due to their low operational costs. Short haul, point-to-point trips allow them to save time and money. This not only provides faster trips to customers with shorter wait time, but also increase the amount of customer turnover which provides more profitability. Southwest should continue to operate at low costs so they may continue to provide low prices to their customers, since cheap flights is one of the keystones of the company.
The airline industry has become more and more competitive over the years. It takes determination, preparation, knowledge, and recourses to start an airline company, and that is just what happened forty-five years ago in Dallas Texas. Southwest Airline is a very successful airline company serving around 100 million customers annually (Southwest Corporate Fact Sheet). Many things stick out about Southwest such as their satellite-based WIFI and free luggage. These accommodations appeal to the customers. This is because he didn’t bother to write any of his musings or teachings. However, most of what we know about Socrates today comes to us from the works of Socrates’ student, Plato. It is through many of his works that the ethical theories of Socrates can be learned and his methods known.
His opinion on life was that all people should live a fair and happy life. After many attempts of forming the perfect government, his facts allowed him to believe that a perfect government could be formed only by those who have a middle class. The middle class would consist of those who were not rich, yet not poor. Both Aristotle and Plato had different thoughts on the division of the government. Aristotle claimed to believe that a government should consist of many classes for the protection of the people and the state.

The novel The Time Machine is told by an unknown narrator. The narrator attends the meetings of the time traveler, but he, along with the others, are unsure of whether to believe the time traveler. At the end of the story, the narrator is left wondering what happened to the time traveler and if time travel truly exists. An important character in the novel is the time traveler. He travels thousands of years into the future and meets a whole new race of creatures. The time traveler is bold and curious. He tries out his time travel machine on his own and risks his life. He explores the future of the world. Eventually, he makes it back from his first adventure and is able to tell his story. However, he goes back into the future and has not returned after several years.
384 B.C.E., Aristotle was born in Stagira, Greece. At the age of fourteen, Aristotle went to Athens to study Philosophy with Plato. Although he studied with Plato, he did not always agree with some of his teachings. When Plato died, Aristotle left Athens and traveled to Macedonia. While in Macedonia, Aristotle tutored Alexander the Great. Later on in his life, Aristotle returned to Athens and created a school of him own, Lyceum. When Alexander the Great died in 323 B.C.E., Aristotle fled to Euboea to avoid charges and execution. He died shortly after in 322 B.C.E. (Aristotle Biography, 2015). Aristotle is seen as much more than just a great philosopher of his time. He practiced in ethics, biology, science, and much more (Chaffee, 2013, p. 250).
