Recommended: Career choices doctor

Being a part of the medical field is what I always wanted for myself. Right now, I’m currently working for a company that’s main focus is promoting and supporting a healthy lifestyle. That company is known as “CVS Health.” At CVS our motto is, “Helping people on their path to better health.” I contribute to that motto by fulfilling the responsibilities and tasks assigned to a pharmacy technician. Through my work, I’m able to learn about various drugs, their strengths, uses, side effects, and the cost of each drug. During the day, I accept multiple prescriptions sent in by prescribers, fill each script with the correct medication, and dispense on them to our customers. I’m thankful to have a job that allows me to make a impact in someone else’s life, even when in it's a small way. I will be at the start of my journey towards earning a Bachelor's degree. Within my two semesters at LCC, I will set the stepping stones that will qualify me for the nursing program offered at UH-Kapiolani Community College. Upon completion of the program I will prepare myself for the NCLEX exam that will ultimately qualify me. But once licensed as a nurse, I will not stop my journey there.
