I would like to inform you about the awful parking situation that is going on at the Avon
Williams Campus downtown. Parking is nearly impossible to find after 11:00 a.m. This is a
serious issue because it is causing many students to be late to class and causing others to
receive tickets because they park on the side of the street when they have no other choice.
Students are many times faced with the decision of waiting until a parking spot becomes
available and being late to class or parking on the side and getting fined. This is very unfair
considering that they pay for this in their tuition costs.
A parking garage built over the parking lot would be the best solution to this problem. I know it
sounds crazy and expensive, but
The choice to lower the amount of spaces available is to leave room for a nice park. At the front of the parking lot will be a kiosk and two gates where tourists will grab a ticket and also pay as they leave. This will ensure that the fee of five dollars per hour is being paid by keeping those in who haven’t paid it. The money from that fee would go to maintain the parking lot and bettering the park. To not build a parking garage at this time may anger some businesses, but the city will agree to look into the issue again in five years and decide then what should be done, if
Most of us go to college because we want to have a good future. We want to have a secure job when we get older, so we can have a happy live. There are a lot of sacrifices we may have to make to be able to graduate a four-year college to get degree. we may have to sacrifice socialization and laziness. There are a lot of people who would make these sacrifices, but they do not have the resources, such as money and car for college, even if they do have car they cannot afford college tuitions. The college tuition is the biggest reason most people cannot go to college.
The parking control office is currently operating with thirteen full time employees and approximately ten part-time student assistants. Of these twenty-three people, only two are able to work the counter where tickets are paid and appeals are made. With the increasing number of students and visitors on campus, more traffic is coming through the parking control office. There is often a long wait in line, which eventually leads to hostile attitudes from the customers. These problems only slow the process down even futher. This increasingly slow process is beginning to cause time related problems on part of the students, visitors and the staff of the parking control office.
Parking on Campus is a Pain New students entering Concordia College are not permitted to have a car on campus. With each new freshman class entering every year, parking represents an issue. Concordia is as of now constrained in its parking on campus and since first year students are not permitted to have cars, the students are confronted with the problem of having no place to park or parking very a long way from their goal. When the bell rings for students to go home the quiet and serene field of asphalt in front of school becomes a sinkhole and everyone is fighting to get out. Most school parking lots are accessible, safe, and orderly; the Hinckley-Big Rock High School parking lot is an accident waiting to happen. With so many problems, a slight redesign of the schools main parking lot would seem practical.
Everyone is entitled to have an oppion. Some people like cats when other people like dogs. Myself being a cat and a dog lover I see both sides of each animal. Therefor I believe that building a dog park in Muscatine, Iowa would be benifital to all becuse the dogs will be helthier, it will bring the community together, and dogs would be calmer.

Students should not feel the anxiety of being late to class based on the CSUF parking issues. Tardiness often suggests that students could be lazy or show lack of care for their education. On the other hand, tardiness may be different at a school similar to CSUF. Titan students will quickly learn that they must show up to school an hour early in order to find a parking space, if they are lucky. Due to students not being capable of finding a parking space on time, they are generally tardy to their college courses. In this case, student’s education should not be affected due to parking issues. However, colleges are not as impacted in the summer, therefore, students should not be expected to worry about finding an open location to park. Parking legally by the residence halls is almost impossible. Students who live at particular dorms find themselves faced with the problem of having to park on the other side of campus. Students who live in the valleys comment that they are surprised with the numerous tickets that are written every day and how it isn’t always clearly spelled out where they can park. They complain on how some parking spaces involve lengthy walks in the freezing cold weather, and how easily the lots fill up. The problem with LimeBike at California State University of Northridge is that students are parking their bikes at the end of their rides on undesignated areas. Some of the places students are parking the bikes are residential areas, people’s lawns, and left in the middle of parking structures. One of the school’s residential neighbors Randy Finnerman noted that the bikes are dropped off on his property daily. Randy mentioned, “One time someone left their bike in the middle of my driveway. There needs to be additional parking on campus made for those visiting the campus and also for students, faculty already has reserved parking; however the limited amount of parking on campus is forcing students and visitors to reserved faculty lots. Our school is limited in funding for certain projects such adding additional parking to solve the parking problem on campus. The student body should take responsibility for the raising of these funds to build additional parking on campus. The rising sophomore class should organize fund raising events to build additional parking on campus.
Amusement parks are by far one of the most thrilling places on earth. As you wait in a long line to get in park, you can hear numerous kids, adults, and tourist shouting off the top of their lungs due to a tremendous jaw-dropping drop on their beloved roller coasters.
Pollution is affecting many individuals and life, as we know it. We need to do something about how it’s affecting our world. That’s why I urge the issue that more people should realize that pollution is an issue that needs to be prevented because of its negative consequences. Which are health affects, the total destruction of environments, and the death of animals and plants. More awareness must be brought up amongst the people and they must realize the long-term benefits it has for the world.
It is hard to find parking on campus, especially during rush hours. Both students and professors are encountering trouble for this crisis. As a simple example, the parking lot next to the Sarkeys building is always full. This problem is a continuous, daily hazard. As a student required to maintain a lot of class schedules and activities, I suffer from the parking problem daily and find that others encounter the same. It is true that the university is working on a new parking garage, but during the construction process, there is no alternative way to settle the crisis.
