Many of the obesity problems that our nation faces actually stem from diet. So the question stands: Is it better to eat clean meals more frequent or eat unhealthy meals less frequent to maintain a healthy weight? Of course, if you are depriving your body of the nutrients it needs, then the initial result will be a thinner figure. However, this could be overall detrimental to your overall health in the long run. You may ask, how can eating more be better for you, much less help you lose those stubborn fifteen pounds you 've been trying to loose for years?? Eating less actually causes your body to go into a sort of survival mode, making it store the fat longer, which makes it harder to get rid of. Eating less will also cause you to eat bigger meals. Many people think that if they stop eating as much their body will react in a positive way, but this is not the case. Eating less is a gradual process that requires time for your body to adjust to not needing as many calories. To lose weight, eating more will actually give you the best and quickest results. This may seem backwards to you, but let me explain. Keeping your body fuller longer will help you to snack less, and help you to eat smaller meals. This doesn 't mean have a sandwich every two hours, just the opposite. For example carrying almonds with you is a great way to ward off hunger and provide the energy you need to get through the day. Diet supplements, medication, personal trainers, and gastric bypass are just a few expenses for those who live an unhealthy lifestyle. A statistic from Mark Hyman helps prove this point. That is money taken straight from the pockets of consumers and is wasted on bad decisions.
