I normally always either over sleep or lay in bed for another 15 minutes before I even decide whether or not to get out of bed but on September 11th 2001, I didn’t. I woke up before my alarm and instead of going back to sleep for another half an hour I made a decision to get up and get dressed to be on time for my meeting that was happening later on that morning, I was wide awake and I had no idea why. I remember climbing out of bed and turning on the TV to the news channel which I listen to everyday, same old news stories, taxes rising, crimes occurring somewhere in the city. I went and completed my normal morning routine, shower, breakfast then to get dressed.

This particular morning I was having trouble on what to pick out to wear. My clothes were either to dull or to bright or the material felt funny. It took me about 15 minutes to even find a top to wear but despite me taking ages to pick out my clothes I was still running extremely early. (Do I stay in or leave and get to work early?) I made up my mind and stuck to the idea of leaving early just so I was one hundred percent ...
