Manual cars are slowly starting to automatically fade away. In today’s society it seems that there is not really a use for manuals anymore. Some of the only few uses for manual transmissions anymore is racing. Besides that, there isn’t really a use for them. It just seems to be that they are a thing of the past. It just seems like they are a thing of the past. Let’s be real here, manuals are basically gone. Nobody drives them anymore, besides the old grandpas that have their old classic car. 90% of cars made these days are automatic transmissions. One other example would be they’re kind of dangerous and you only have one hand on the wheel most of the time. They are also more available at car dealerships. If you’re searching for a manual then you might have to search a little harder to look for one. (Bismarck Motor Company)
In these days going to a car dealership and finding a majority of cars that are manuals over automatics are difficult. Dealerships buy more automatic cars from manufactures because they usually produce more automatics. One other reason is because they cost more, which means more money for the car dealerships. There is people who disagree though, many people say that manuals are better. Some examples are: They say that they get better gas mileage. (Manual vs automatic) In some cases that could be true. One more example would be towing capacity. If you’re driving a big diesel Dodge and hauling a bunch of stuff people say you can haul more with a manual, some also say you can be more in control of your vehicle driving a stick.
