Presidential elections are the one time of year where people second guess their morals and what they really want our country to look like. The campaigns went from having hard facts to bashing the other candidates to get votes. It’s a way of life for Americans to sit in front of a television and believe every single statement that comes out of politician 's mouths. The people need to come together has one and voice their opinions and their voice. With this year 's election having two unfavorable candidates, it is questionable whether voters should be protesting against the government by submitting blank ballots, electing fictional characters, and throwing rallies at candidates campaigns. Voters are standing outside with signs and loud voices chanting rude remarks and comments about this year 's candidates. “Anti-Trump protesters smashed the window of a police car and blocked traffic and 20 people were arrested” (Anti-Trump protests break out for second day in California). It seems that violence is the way people have to go now a days just to get people to listen and hopefully the government hears the people out. These candidates are not safe, especially since they know how much each one is hated. America should not be having someone in office that is hated by more than half of our population. Even though this year’s candidates are not the best, they are still well educated people who are able to run our country. For example, Trump is a major business major who knows exactly how to deal with money. The United States alone is drowning right now in million dollars of debt. Some people believe he would help America become great again and help reduce poverty. Hillary has also been around politics nearly her whole life, especially since her husband was former President in 1993 to 2001. Both candidates are either really knowledgeable in politics or with
