Through the many years, there has always been the fight that was constantly uprising around the world’s fishing borders between environmentalists and successful fish farmers. The one question that is constantly pondered upon is the golden question that defines what our seas could be and would be: Should overfishing be a right thing? What is overfishing? Overfishing is when fisheries continue to quickly capture fish with fifty meter nets quicker than the fish that they catch can reproduce, decreasing the ocean’s biodiversity and destroying the sea’s ecosystem. According to Save the Fish, Save the World Foundation, they plan to “eliminate all forms of overfishing encompassing all species currently being overfished, while also continually to educate the youth in realizing the negatives of this practice to prevent history from repeating itself,” (SFSW, 1). The main action required to complete the plan is cooperation and support. In order to function correctly the most powerful and influential countries will have to sign and agree on the creation of the new organization so that it will have the power to persuade. Money and resources will also be required to carry out plans. This method will only allow the fishing to be caught where the ish is allowed to be caught, while also keeping in mind of how much fish is actually being caught and those countries and fisheries that disagrees will be tremendously fined as a whole. Not only will the GFC be aware of where the fishing will happen, they will start fish farming using eco-friendly materials, keeping neither one or another fish more in demand than another. Thus, this method will work because it not only satisfies both parties, but it protects what needs to be protected and listens to what needs to be heard. Furthermore, if this is implemented the fish population will not only increase, but it will lift what has been damaged and the ocean would be ready to rebuild
