Nothing drives the passion and stirs controversially, especially in the United States, more than horrendous stories of euthanasia. Ever since Dr. Jack Kevorkian, a former pathologist, who assisted people with terminal illness to help end their lives. A man inflicted with Lou Gehrig’s disease, partaking his own life, Dr. Jack Kevorkian videotaped the moment of death and showing it on “60 Minutes” which has stirred up whether or not euthanasia “the painless killing of a patient suffering from an incurable and painful disease or in an irreversible coma”, can be classified as murder or ending someone unbearable suffering. If euthanasia gets legalized patients with terminal illnesses would give up easy, they wouldn’t want to fight to see the outcome. Physician are there to help patients make it through there rough time not assist in ending patient’s lives.

It is feared that euthanasia is the normal and the procedure of the physician will start abusing it. The aforementioned idea is also known as a slippery slope. Also, a miracle or a misdiagnosed might occur. Therefore, if those types of situations would occur and the patient partaking in euthanasia, he/she would have been robbed out on beautiful life. However, it is believed that God decides what time and place for the patients death, not a doctor who feel it times for the patient to end their intolerable life. A doctor is no God, to be determining how someone life should go.

On the other hand, depending upon the circumstances it is not always erroneous killing a person but it is permissible for a physician to end someone like no matter if they’re in pain, intolerable, suffering, still doesn’t make it right. After all the alternatives have been considered, if the person reaches the conclusion, he/she should have the right to give up to avoid further pain an
