Lindsay Lohan was the popular idol and actress in the United States around the age of 20's, but the bad behavior of life in private life became a regular in gossip magazines. She repeated drunk driving. Finally, she was arrested for drink driving after she was involved in an automobile accident in Beverly Hills in May 2007 (BBC News, 2007). She couldn’t quit drinking before driving even celebrity who needs to maintain her image more hard than ordinary people. It is difficult to change their mind completely by just education or themselves. Therefore, Drunk drivers should be imprisoned on the first offense.

First, the important thing is that they don’t drive and drink by chance. They could avoid the situation. For example, before drinking, you should choose a non-drinking friend as a designed driver or if you and all your friends drink alcohol you have to call a taxi. Also, when you host a party with alcohol, you should make sure all guests leave with a sober driver. In Japan, when you drink alcohol, you can use convenient public transportation until around 12 a.m. so you should go back home before closing transportation. In 2014, motor vehicle crashes (MVC) are the leading cause of death among people aged 16-24 in the United States (Population Health Metrics Advancing innovation in health measurement, 2018). This number is not only because of their faults, but drink driving also lead this number. The teenagers become adults and they don’t think about the danger of drunk driving seriously and next generation affected by the parents. Non-strict law causes vicious circle. Being imprisoned for the first offense makes teenager more considerable. Underage drink driving is a serious problem in many countries. Teenagers who drink alcohol at a young age are seven times more likely to be involved in an alcohol related crash in their life (National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, 2014).
