When problems arise, we take notice, even if it’s just our neighboring states. We have worked to save the population of not only humans, but all living things. I believe we are starting to truly notice what we have caused. We've caused global warming through our use of too much carbon dioxide. The CO2 acts as a blanket over the atmosphere, trapping heat in, and warming the planet. We burn fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas for energy. We burn and cut down forests, to create pastures and plantations. From this, carbon accumulates and overloads our suffering atmosphere, although it may be suffering, there are people willing to help. There are many things people can do to slow down this destruction, people have already started. …show more content…

Known as the Clean Power Plan, these standards represent the most significant opportunity in years to help curve the growing consequences of climate change. These coal plants, causes this air pollution in our regional areas and can cause acid rain and diseases due to the air carrying sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. The elements in this acid rain cause severe respiratory issues, not only for us humans, but for all living animals. Breathing the elements of the acid rain can cause horrific damage, and could destroy any living beings lungs. If it were possible to find recreational ways to use our fossil fuels we could very easily curb this epidemic of global warming. If we could use our renewable resources - we can stop ruining our regional ecosystems. There are some uses other than coal, we could use wind or solar power, and reduce these effects immensely. But to curb this epidemic, we need all the people we have to stop it, but there are many arguments by people who think Global Warming is “fake news” and just an idea created to disturb us. These people also claim they can’t change their use of fossil fuels, because these resources have always been used for
