We want to solve the problem by helping kids and adults each healthier by making healthier lifestyle choices when it comes to eating. We also want to also increase physical activity of children and adolescents. I believe with the proper diet and exercise we can help decrease the obesity issue in this country that has grown so much in the past two decades. These steps are vital to helping prevent childhood obesity and even kids who currently suffer from childhood obesity.
Without helping children fight obesity at a young age, it could cause serious issues later in life. Having community programs in high obesity level areas will promote balance and moderation in diet and physical activity, which is the key to living a healthier life. Children in this generation are predicted to live a shorter life than their parents. The children are the future and without them, there is no future. Community programs will bring everyone together, to work together and to make their community a fun and active place for children.
