Stating the obvious, no one can choose the gender they are born with. It is possible to change genders through extensive surgery once you are older, but you cannot choose how you are born. Maybe one day there will be the technology and science that provides that possibility, but today it does not exist. It is no new topic, but government mandated health care is something to be addressed. Though people’s opinions go back and forth and there is no leading side, many people have heard of the topic of government mandated birth control. The main argument in support of this is the question of why women should have to pay for something out of their control, while men do not. In today’s day and age, people are becoming sexually active at younger and younger ages. Without proper education, people do not know better and in turn have more unprotected sex. So if all of these are covered and you can by condoms at most stores and every gas station, why are people still not using contraception? When it comes to condoms, people say they do not like using them, but a pill you take once a day does not affect the activity. According to an article on “WebMD” your birth control will be free under the act as long as you, “get your health insurance through most employers, through your state’s Marketplace, or from most private insurers,” and “have a doctor’s prescription for any type of birth control approved by the FDA.” Of course, a religious company does not have to provide birth control so as to not interfere with the first amendment. Inability to obtain contraceptives is not a valid excuse, seeing as how easy it is to acquire all of the different forms, and the coverage by most insurers, leaving little to no out-of-pocket
