The topic of abortion has been a controversial issue in America and each side cannot come to an agreement. Many people believe women should be able to make their own decision because it is their own body and because the baby is not born yet so it is not a human. While others believe once the fetus is formed, it is considered a human and has individual rights, and that aborting that baby is murder. Most likely they would already be traumatized from the incident, now they have to worry about raising a child that they did not intend to have nor wanted to have. The next nine months of pregnancy would constantly remind her of the horror she went through. Knowing that she will not have to raise an unwanted child would help ease her mind a bit from what happened.
