This paper will explain many forms of bullying and cruel behavior towards others. It is time that we step up to this matter and put a stop to it. Bulling is everywhere and affects many people. Bulling is something that happens or everyone no matter what age, race or religion. Today we have encountered many forms of bullying and we see it everywhere. This paper will explain what we can do to prevent bullying and how we can enforce or children, family and friends on taking a stand ageing bulling.

“Many people think of bullying as getting beat up in school, but it is so much more than that. “For me it was all of the verbal harassment I had to deal with. People say sticks and stones may break your bones but names can never hurt you, but that’s not true. “Words can hurt. They hurt me. Things were said to me that I still haven’t forgotten.” ~ Demi Lovato. Meaning that being bullied can hurt you in so many ways. That there’s so many types of bullying and that all of these actions can possibly impact your life in a very big way. Bullying has become very common in the U.S especially in the educational environment. We see it and hear about it daily from verbal bullying, social bullying, cyberbullying, and physical bullying being the most dangerous. Nearly 1 in 3 students (27.8%) report being bullied during the school year (National Center for Educational Statistics, 2013). Having either witnessed or have been a victim of these types of acts and at time we have chosen not to take action. So we ask ourselves, how serious does it have to get to bring this to an end? And how can the professional and paraprofessional staff take action into spreading awareness. It’s time that we become aware and raise awareness of the many lives on the

A bully is someone who picks on other people, because they think it is the way to solve their problems. There are many types of bullying, there is physical, verbal, and mental. Children that are ages five through eleven began using verbal abuse and some even use physical abuse (Garrett 33). People estimated that one hundred and sixty thousand students miss school every day, and twenty-eight million missed school days per year, due to fear of being bullied (Garrett 36). Also, bullies can begin to strike at a young age and could also be; teenage, middle-age, or even the elderly. Even though there are these many versions of problematic bullies, the largest bullying problems take place within the school setting: a place that is supposed to be safe for children rather than harmful. Although it seems impossible to completely get rid of bullying, these are a few suggested solutions; making the school informed on bullying issues, schools implementing rules on bullying, and having students positively use electronics to stop bullying.
