Recommended: Introduction to shark finning

Shark finning should not be allowed since poachers are throwing away shark carcases back into the ocean wasting away the majority of meat and only keeping the fins making the shark population decline rapidly, it is also inhumane to kill any animal in such a manner, and the loss of sharks are destroying ecosystem. I completely disagree with the waste of sharks and the idea of killing mass populations of sharks for just fins, the results are more severe than one would think since other populations will die out or increase in the marine biology. How anyone can use a long line with a hundred hooks hoping to catch just shark end up killing thousands of smaller fish that just go to waste since they do not produce shark fins and are just killed. Shark finning as everyone knows is a product for shark fin soup however the actual idea of how it’s done is worse than a regular fast food product since sharks are not reproduced as a normal land animal. Long lines kill any age, any species, and any size of shark without a single sense of remorse from poachers that don’t kill the sharks. Poachers just simply grab thousands of sharks in a hour while cutting of the the limbs or in the case of a shark its fins not even fully killing the shark but allowing it to bleed to death once thrown back into the ocean while sinking to the ground not being able to do anything. Tossing and turning destined to bleed to death is not just the way sharks victims of shark finning, these same sharks that are thrown back finless are eaten alive by other sharks or crustaceans at the bottom of the ocean usually covering a space in the ocean in blood since thousands are being done the same thing over and over in just an hour. This is okay? Only because sharks and other aquatic organisms are just fish? If this was a case through a human’s view to another human which is already inhumane to sharks.
