I believe in wrestling moves, wrestling is a sport that I love to do. I believe that everyone should try and do this sport. A great wrestler once said “once you’ve wrestled, everything else in life is easy” by Dan Gable. I believe that wrestling can change a person’s point of view on life. It can really make someone turn into a peaceful individual and become a decent human being. I believe in Wrestling moves because they do relate to everyday life tasks. The wrestling move called “hip-toss” is used when lifting your opponent from behind and dropping them backwards. Lifting something heavy is the same as lifting someone off of their feet.
I believe that doing this sport also means becoming more healthy because you must watch what you eat. You must be in a certain weight class while doing this tough sport. I believe in wrestling, I believe in wrestling moves as well. This sport IS the most toughest sport out there in the world, in my opinion. This sport will always have a special place in my heart and life. You must be tough but also mentally tough, this sport is for the strong and the weak. I believe that even if you are small, you can still beat bigger and stronger opponents. This

Anyone can do it but not everyone can be truly committed to the lifestyle of a wrestler. This sport can truly make someone happy and sad at the same time. It can make you feel like you are on the verge of dying. You must have heart, patience, love and discipline to be successful in this sport called “wrestling”. Over the Two years I’ve been doing this sport, all i can say is, be ready for anything. You are going to wrestle against a person who weighs as much as you do. Always go into your match with confidence and believing in yourself and in your team. This sport is a team sort but it is also an individual sport as well. That’s also another reason why I love this sport, It’s only you and one guy or girl on the mat with
I have many things that I love in this life, one of those things is wrestling. I have been wrestling for seven years and I have developed quite the passion and love for it. Wrestling has always been an interesting sport for me. Growing up in Oregon I watched my uncles wrestle in high school. I watched both of them win their state tournament in their respective weight classes, this is one of my fondest memories of my childhood. One of them went on to wrestle division one, I thought this was the coolest thing in the world. I looked up to my uncles and wanted to be just like them. I did not always wrestle though. The process of pursing my dream as of becoming a wrestler started of with basketball, then went to a rocky start, then being on Worland High School wrestling team.
A long time ago, back in the olden days, Bruno Sammartino was a superhero who sold out Madison Square Garden countless times. Back in those times, wrestling strictly adhered to kayfabe, so many of the fans believed
Other sports, such as basketball, soccer, and golf, rarely even send the greatest athletes from each country because they would much rather win the NBA finals, the World Cup, or the PGA Tour thanks to the enormous paydays that the athletes can receive from winning such tournaments. The Olympics, however, pays only a fraction of that to their medaling athletes, but wrestlers are not in it for the money. As long as wrestling is involved, an Olympic medal will continue to be the aspirations of wrestlers around the world.
During a wrestling match, you are using all of your previous knowledge of the moves you have been practicing over and over. On top of that you need to have the mental mind set that you are gonna win. You may think it is easy because it's only a six minute match, but all the blood, sweat and tears that us wrestlers put in for those six minutes, may be the happiest or saddest experience of our life. We spend hours a day working with our coaches to make sure our technique is close to perfection as it can get. Most likely, you will win or lose a match on how well conditioned you are. We will usually wrestle a twelve minute match in practice, so that six minute match feels like nothing. Even with the time and effort you put in this sport, they will always be someone who might be just a little better.
There is only one thing that is worse than wrestling practice, and that is having to sit out at wrestling practice. When I hurt my shoulder and couldn't wrestle, I wanted nothing more than to be on the mat with my teammates. No matter how hard, painful, or stressful wrestling may be, it means more to me than just being comfortable for those two hours. A sheer feeling of accomplishment surrounds a wrestler after removing completely soaked work out gear after practice. The discipline that it takes to be a member on the mat is something I will always have the utmost respect. Although I may always hate humidity because of it for the rest of my life, I will forever carry the discipline that the Hotchkiss High School wrestling room has given me.
Wrestling is the hardest sport both physically and mentally. The constant management of weight is what kills me the most, I can take all the cheap shots from opponents and the slams down onto the mat but the cutting weight part is the worst. It was the day before a tournament and I was 14 pounds over the weight I was going to wrestle that weekend. I had to lose it, so i did. I ran with layers of clothing on all night long and I didn 't eat or drink anything for two days, I made myself freeze at night so my body would burn more calories to keep me warm, me and friends drilled for hours to help me shed those final pounds. I went through hell and yet not one person tried to stop me or check to see if i was physically okay. They cared about the medal i was going to get that weekend rather than the fact that i was on the verge of dehydration and malnourishment. People should consider the mental and physical health problems wrestling has on a person such as dehydration, excessive weight loss, going days without eating, and the breakage of a person’s will, however all they think about is the titles and the medals they will receive if they can just make that weigh in.
While wrestling, I was arguably the hardest-working man ever. Not only did my hard work and sacrifice contribute to my success, but it also helped contribute to the success of my teammates. When I was wrestling, I made the people around me better at the sport and life in general. Following this, my biggest contribution to the world that involved my sport was helping to save wrestling from being discontinued in the Olympics. After the IOC decided that wrestling would be dropped from the 2020 Olympics, the whole world was outraged.
When I was a Freshman, I was curious about the sport of Wrestling. When I tried out for it, I was eager to learn more about it. It is not just rolling around on the mat it is a form of combat using grappling techniques such as throws, takedowns, pins, holds, and joint locks. In addition into this sport, there are a variety of ways to use these grappling techniques. Wrestling has many rich memories of it is history with a variety of wrestling styles and rules.
Throughout the last two years of my life one thing has not changed, my love for wrestling. Wrestling comes down to passion, and will. Wrestling is where two people step out onto the mats hoping to achieve the same goal “victory”. In high school I wrestle, I spend many days weight-training preparing myself for an intense season.
The moves are real, the athleticism is real, and the performers put on a show by performing these moves until the match ends. Magic is the same: put on a great show where there is that high risk factor, but it usually ends okay with no injuries. That’s the truth. It’s a shame that professional wrestling has become watered down by the WWE’s use of the term, “Sports Entertainment”, but it is what it is. If you don’t like wrestling the way it is then change it or help work towards changing it, but don’t deny that it isn’t an optical illusion much akin to magic.
When they see the wrestlers they are so much bigger than they thought. The wrestlers have big and powerful wrestlers. They are always in top condition. The smaller wrestlers still have muscles but they are not as powerful as the bigger ones. The smaller wrestlers rely on their speed to win their matches.
