Bullying
Have you ever been bullied? Do you know what it feels like to be overpowered and feel powerless? Bullying is toxic and negative and has now escalated into a social issue. Social issue is a recognized challenge faced by many individuals regardless of age, race, religion or gender. It can happen anywhere, any time to anyone. It is wrong and has always been that way. Bullying happens all around the world and even in this little red dot where justice and democracy is heavily emphasised. Bullying can be expressed in many ways physically, verbally or over the Internet. It is a norm that we see and hear about it every day but choose not to do anything about it but let the bullies continue with their outrageous actions. Bullies bully for attention and the condition where they were raised in also has a say for their actions.
One of the most childish reason in my opinion to bully someone would be for unnecessary attention from others. No one should ever stoop down so low to bring someone down just to make themselves stand out. Bullies crave for attention to make …show more content…

Children expresses what they learn. Raised without love, they would not know how to sympathise nor empathise. Raised with hate, they will show hate. Most of the bullying results from what they witness at home. For example, if a child sees their parents constantly fighting with one another, he or she will feel that that is an acceptable behaviour just because they were not taught properly. As they radiate hate, they will only attract hate. It is an endless cycle of loneliness and negativity for the bullies and those around them.
Though bullying is a short-term act, the effects are permanent. Superficial scars can be hidden but the ones in the heart are permanent and traumatises victims for their whole life. Victims of bullying tend to experience psychological stress and tend to be socially withdrawn from
