Psychology is a broad term used in today’s society. It mainly deals with the study of the unconscious and conscious mind with respect to behavior, yet branches out into far more developed ideas. One idea is known as personality. Personality is unique to everyone. It exhibits how one behaves when placed in a certain situation, and is dependent on multiple psychological attributes. Qualities of a personality can either be negative or positive, for it is dependent on the individual’s actions and attitude towards the environment. These qualities can also be influenced with a variety of factors. This step can be as easy as listing positive and negative traits that you most commonly portray. Some positive personality traits that best describe me are: practical, dependable, capable, organized, and active. Some negative personality traits that best describe me are: blunt, critical, impatient, sarcastic, and anxious. Respectively, I am practical because I tend to live in the realm of reality rather than imagination. I am dependable because I like to get my assignments done on time and in a timely manner. I am capable because I set my mind to a goal that I wish to accomplish in the future. I am organized because I can’t function in a chaotic environment. I am active because I like to partake in sports along with outdoor activities. I am blunt because I am to the point. I am critical because I like things to be perfect. I am impatient because I hate congestion. I am sarcastic because I have two siblings. Lastly, I am anxious because I hate waiting.
