A Swedish singer and songwriter name Lykke Li once self-proclaimed that “I am such a complex person. I have so many different layers to my personality to choose from. I am super-sensitive, and I am super-strong.” Now Lykke Li is a singer and songwriter that, up until it came time for me to write this paper, I had no clue who she was. But the essence of her quote is so bona fide that it can almost pertain to any person when their type of personality enters their mind. Personality is the sum of all experiences that we as people have encountered over certain periods of life and, for me, taking this personality quiz was somewhat eye opening how certain experiences and how my childhood life and personality translates into the descriptions that pull up on these questionnaires.

Before completing these questionnaires, I had a generic baseline test on 5 basic questions about personality in my notebook, which at the time I did not take very seriously. One of the main things that seized my attention out of our first baseline that my test is that I scored myself as a 5 or 6 (1=low, 7=high). When answering this question in class, I considered myself as a shy and reserved person when I am in class and moderately outgoing outside of class. My score in this specific field came as another surprise to me as well, especially since I scored so low in openness to experience and intellect field. Before taking this questionnaire, I considered myself decently creative, most likely at the 50th percentile (scored myself as a 4 on the 1-7 scale), although I know I thrive and take over in system environments.
