Construction Management During a flight to New York, I read an article highlighting Auburn University online Masters Program illustrated in Sky Magazine. At this point, I understood these principles intuitively, it produced in me a strong urge to learn and understand the complex theory behind the working of construction management. It was at this time that I realized the importance of mathematics and programming as invaluable tools in management. I had always felt that applying my technical knowledge to the field of management would be highly satisfying. This venture helped me understand my goals as I decided to pursue a career in Construction Management. My current role with Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has suddenly increased, the demand for professionals who can understand the processes, but also develop their management skills to evaluate and execute efficient project controls. I believe that in order to use construction management tools to efficiently. Construction professional should be well versed in the field that underlies the construction theory. In the future, I see myself as a construction manager professional addressing scheduling, critical paths by incorporating cutting edge methodologies in order to cater to the above-mentioned requirements.
