Cosmetologist, if you didn't know what that was it's a person who goes to school to do makeup, nails, hair and also skin care.Currently what's what I want my career to be in the future.It might be a good job for me because I like working with hair, makeup nails and skin care. I also think this would be a good job because it's very social.
Cosmetologists work with nothing but hair, makeup and nails. Those are one my favorite things to do. Everything a cosmetologist does are fun to experiment with and try new things with. For example, I can also express myself with dramatic looks and different colors or just an everyday natural look. I would get to meet new people every day. Every day I will get to see a new person and learn a little about them. Everyone that comes in will have a different age, background and life story.In fact you’re getting the chance to have positive relationships with all different types of people. Not only do I get to build relationships and meet new clients but co-workers to. I get to see them every day it would be helpful to be friends or get along with them as well just in case there's a few jobs you aren't as confident with one thing as you are other things. One of your coworkers could be more confident in doing that certain thing so you would want to get along so it not awkward when you ask them for help.
Just like any other job there are some not so good things included.You are not going to build a positive relationship with everyone. Some people just don't like communication with other people.Every job you do, whether it's someone's nails, hair or makeup not everyone is going to be perfect. Consequently, you're probably going to mess up every once I a while, but sometimes people won’t accept a redo and take the situation a little farther than it really need to go. Another con to being a cosmetologist is being on your feet most of the day, but that's not always a terrible thing.

Cosmetologists and clients both are being affected by improper sanitation and care. Cosmetologists are always going to stay in their work space until their shift is over. They will continually be breathing the dangerous fumes from the many different chemicals being used. These fumes will possibly cause some health hazards in their future. Clients will be coming in and out of the salon to get their services done. If there are improper cleaning skills and cosmetologists show less care towards their clients health, the client will possibly be getting a bacterial disease or maybe even a deadly disease. Every since I was a child I have had a passion for doing other people’s hair. When I was little I would use my baby dolls as clients and work on their hair until it was perfect and neat. I have chosen to be in the cosmetology field because I like to help other people with their needs and wants as well as mine. I am aware that while working in this industry I will work with many different ethnic groups and many different hair types. I feel I can do anything as long as I have the determination to do so. Many people go to cosmetology school to work for someone else, but I would like to open up a mini-salon out of my own home someday.

The difference between a cosmetic dermatologist and just an average dermatologist. A cosmetic dermatologist is a medical doctor who seeks more training in dermatology. They specialize in treating the skin cosmetically. They use Botox,Collagen injections,Chemical peels,laser surgery, etc….. I am not sure of the exact moment that stimulated my interest in the cosmetology program, but as a teenager, I would always style my family members and my own hair. It wasn’t until recently that I took the leap and followed my dreams. As a student in the cosmetology program, I feel strongly that I have great work ethic, determination, and positivity. In this field, it is important to have these attributes in order to push yourself and help others around you. Being positive and determined makes me feel effective because I know that I'm destined for great things; if I were not positive or determined I would go nowhere and wouldn’t have goals for myself.
