Personal Strategy
I have different goals that affect different areas in my life. These goals are based on my own person goals I have set for myself, my family, and some that focus on the growth of my career. Each of these goals will require the use of my strengths and opportunities I poses and the idea that I will also need to overcome my weaknesses and work past my proposed threats. I personally believe without goals in mind, the chances of achieving personal growth decreases. However, for every goal in mind, there must be a strategic plan on how to achieve it.
SMART Goals These strategic plans consist of objectives you must complete to achieve your desired outcome. They are merely stepping stone to your goal and personal success. By achieving these objectives, it leads you closer and closer to achieving your desires and aspirations. In addition to having and meeting objectives, these objectives must have a time frame and be measurable. The best way to do this is by creating SMART goals. SMART stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time. Having a specific goal is making the goal simple and significant. Keeping the goal measurable allows meaning and motivation. This goal is to achieve my Masters in Health Care Administration with honors. For this goal to be realistic, I must first attend and take the required courses for the degree. This is done by getting into the correct program and funding myself throughout the program. For myself to achieve honors, I will need to stay focused, turn my assignment in on time, and preform greatly within my courses. These objectives can be measured by means of grading and attendance.
