7th grade year had started for Rain Cunanan, as he entered the threshold of a familiar place he took one glance and knew it was going to be an easy year. But little did Rain know his fate wouldn’t have been so certain, his grades would attest to that. Rain didn’t have a bad GPA or anything of the sort, he was actually doing quite magnificently, to the point where teachers noticed his flawlessness and effort he put into every class. One day he had been called into the magnet office, just before finals, and was asked an important question that was pressing to Rain at the time. He was asked to join the magnet program, at the moment he didn’t have to answer, and was given time to respond before the new semester began. Rain liked his classes, he was held above the status quo, his peers looked up to him in admiration and even better, he established a great relationship with those around him. Rain looked for help within his math teacher, Ms. VanMeal, the most chill asian lady who was the advisor for Rubik’s cube club. His projects were a success and continued his strides to success. He studied day after day, and received help when needed, most importantly he had gained new friends, respect from his peers, and went above and beyond his expectations. The only thing that stood in his way now was the finals, he crammed night after night, because he failed himself the quarter before. When the test finally came he took all his test diligently. Rain was the first one to come back every day to ask for the grade he had gotten on his semester finals. Rain had done it, he committed himself to change and brought about goodness in his life. With this newfound potential Rain had revived there was nothing standing in his way except for his mental blocks to become better. The following year came and Rain was ready to take on his 8th grade
