Soccer a game that has taught me to sacrifice, work-hard and synergize as a team.

In the field I was a centre-back, I defended in the area directly in front of my goal, and tried to prevent opponents from scoring. As a centre-back, I accomplished this by blocking shots, tackling, intercepting passes, contesting headers and marking forwards to discourage the opponents from passing to them.

In possession of the ball, I generally was expected to make short and simple passes to my team-mates or to kick unaimed long balls down the field, for example; a clearance.

During normal play, I was unlikely to score goals. However, when my team-mates took any set-piece, I could move forward to the opponent's penalty-especially aerial balls near the goal
