Yes, my writing experiences are similar to Stafford's. I noticed this when he said, "When I began to try to write things... One thing would lead to another; the world would give and give... an idea hard to pin, difficult to say, and perhaps offensive to some..." When I write things I also feel as though the world, or in my case God, give and give ideas. Ideas in which I feel the need to express, but I sometimes find it hard to pinpoint the idea in a comprehensible way, I sometimes find it difficult to express the idea, and in some cases may offend or just shock others with the idea.
Another case I noticed my writing experiences being similar to Stafford’s is when he said, “When I write, I like to have an interval before me when I am not likely
