The day of my grandparents had told me they have been wanting to go to the Florida Keys and asked if I would like to join. So of course i wanted to go. Oh and when they told me i could bring a friend along i was jumping with happiness inside. They told me we would be going for a couple weeks and they had all expenses covered. So that day I started talking to Jamie and asking her when she would be back, because at that time she was in Florida visiting family. She had told me she would be back . So i asked her is she would like to join me and take a trip to the Keys with me. I could tell she was so excited when i asked her because she texted me back all in caps and said “CALL ME”. So i called her to let her know all of the details. So she ended up getting back .So when she got back from Florida we went to Walmart and bought a lot of We were walking down the aisles in Walmart and throwing all different kinds of junk food in the cart. We got munchies, cheese its, Kitchen Cooked potato chips, jolly ranchers, starbursts, and two cases of propel. Then the night before we were leaving for vacation I had a hair appointment. My hair appointment ran a little later than expected and I could tell jamie was getting anxious because i had several text messages and phone calls. When we finally arrived at her house she had a suitcase, a bag for the back seat, and three blankets. That night we stayed up until two in the morning because one we were really anxious and two we wanted to be able to sleep for the long car ride. What comes to mind when you hear the word adventure!!? Well there is a place in Florida that is guaranteed to bring out your inner kid every time you visit. This place is known as universal Orlando Florida. This is a place where you can go on vacation and have fun like never before as you did when you were a kid. On my visit to Orlando I stated at a four-star resort located inside the theme park known as Cabana Bay Beach Resort, also went to universal studios and islands of adventure were I felt like I was a kid again.
As my family and I walked into the plane, we were excited. The plane ride to jamaica stopped in L.A. and, after that, it went to jamaica. When we arrived in Jamaica it was really hot, but it was wet. I immediately took off my sweater I was wearing on the plane. We took a bus to our hotel. Then we started swimming in the water park. Every night there was a show in the main stage. The next day we woke up early to go to chukka. It was awesome. We saw a great house, rode on horses, and did a challenge course. Vacation is the one thing that people look forward to throughout the year. People usually think of it as a time to relax, unwind, and enjoy an amazing tropical getaway. Maybe it’s chilling at the beach or taking the night out, vacation is always something fun for anyone. After we relaxed for a long time, it was time for me to go and wash off all of the seaweed my hair had collected. I turn on the shower and there is a huge spider waiting for me just sitting there waiting for me. I killed it and then resumed my shower. After I got out and we were all ready leave we didn’t know where to go. Until my sister saw a commercial for this really cool place with alligators and a Ferris wheel, we decided to go there. As we pulled up to the place we noticed that there was an amazing Ferris wheel and I immediately got really excited. But my parents said that I have to wait until after dinner. The next day i woke up and went downstairs to eat some breakfast. On the kitchen there was a not from my mom saying that her dad and Alec had gone shopping for our trip out of town and there was a checklist for what i needed to pack. Most of it was just essential things like toothpaste and a toothbrush.
This past summer, my family and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas. We had just docked at the second port, Nassau, and were preparing to exit the gigantic ship named the Carnival Fantasy. Once we got to the city, I noticed it was bustling with people of all different backgrounds and cultures. The roads were narrow and some even hilly. I remember coming to the conclusion that a lot of people in the Bahamas must have road rage what from the blaring car horns I could hear around every corner. My family and I were walking along the sidewalk, glancing into shops as we passed them. The weather was unbearably hot, but growing up in South Carolina allowed my family and I to push onward with our adventure. The sun burn on my back started to pulsate in pain any time the sunlight hit it, so we decided to stick to the side of the buildings that provided shade.
A month went by of us packing, getting ready, and us counting down the days until we left for Florida and then Puerto Rico. The day came that we were leaving for Florida. We were in the car for 5 hours. We finally got to the hotel and we went to dinner. After that, we went to the pool and then we went to our rooms and went to sleep.
The trip to Florida over Christmas break was unlike any other. Yes, most people would jump at the opportunity to go to Florida after a winter like we had up to that point. So, let me give you some background on why the trip. Back in July my mother in-law had an epileptic seizure that rendered her in a coma, she has not awoken from and the doctors are pushing to let her go. She has been moved 3 hours from my brother in-laws house to Georgia. Thanks to our lovely health care system, it was the only place available that could take care of her needs. Perfect timing kids are out of school and it is a good time to travel so you would think. I have been out of work
My mom had been going to school in Greeley and staying at my Aunt Margaret's house . She had been away for two weeks and wanted to come home for the Fourth of July weekend. My mom had suggested that I go back with her and visit colleges, shop, go to movies and just spend time together. I had been feeling pretty sorry for myself since she had been gone. I had been working alot as a maid and helping my dad run the house, I was getting very irritated with my siblings as I felt that I was the only family member doing my part to help my dad. I was really excited to have a week with my mom to myself. The whole ride over we were talking about what I wanted to do that week. Making plans and having "me time" seemed very important at the time.
We all went out to eat a 50s style diner that Adam recommended, he said it was one of his favorite places to eat. Afterward we decide to go hiking, Adam was the first to move to Denver, so he was basically the guide for the entire trip. I’d never seen the mountains before, but they really did look amazing, It was a view that you only see in the wallpapers in computers and as we drove through them I took plenty of pictures. They did always say that the mountain where beautiful. I don’t remember the name if the trail that Adam had taken us to, Cesar and martin hadn’t been there either. I never really understood the appeal of hiking, what you just walk through the wood? Sound like you’re looking to get attacked by a bear or some other wild animal. But again, I grew up in Iowa. I enjoyed hiking, Cesar and I were in the front the whole time and a had to stop and wait while martin and Glenn caught up I don’t think they enjoyed hiking as much, I know Cesar and Adam still has go hiking often but martin never does. We didn’t climb all the way up, but we got high enough to look over the city and it may sound cheesy but the sight really was beautiful, the hike down was the easy part. The rest of the day we went Frisbee golfing, they had probably the best course I’ve ever been too. We went to a brewery/restaurant to get some dinner, it was a nice place in a small town in the mountains. It was good to hang out with friends that I
August 16, 2016, I had just awoken and smelled breakfast my girlfriend was already up and cooking. The smell was enticing and I quickly got up and hurried to the kitchen. What I saw had my mouth watering there was, pancakes stacked high with oozing melted butter dripping off the top, the bacon was crispy and eggs was fluffy with a glass of orange juice I thanked her and we ate. The food was great and I enjoyed it even more since I wasn’t expecting it. It was a typical day other than the breakfast we decided we will go out and do something since the kids were with their dads this weekend. It was a nice day out a little windy, I mentioned four-wheelers and she came up with the idea lets go on rollercoasters today.
i tried texting her just about all day but i never got a response. i brushed it off and assumed she had just switched phones since the last time she gave me her number. so i went along with my day as usual. except of course i had to pick up my suit and make sure the car reservation was still set up. i rented a jeep, a nice one. i always knew she loved jeeps, not exactly sure why but she does. i used to always joke with her about being australian. i miss those times, i miss her.

One day before Fourth of July, and it was going to be a fun day at my cousin 's house because we were going to spend it at the pool.
