My Goals For 2018
In school goals:
This year, I have a one goal to achieve in school that is getting better at Language Arts. I am going to get better at it by going on to apps or web sites that are related to it. Another way I am going to get better at it is, reading more. I will find out new vocabulary words and will get better at reading. The third way I can get better at Language Arts is by getting to know new words and there meanings. I can get those types of words from a dictionary. This is one goal I have for this year.
Outside of school goal: The goal I have outside of school is getting better at the sports I already play. The first way I can get better
It's hard for me to say where I'll be in the years to come, already my life has strayed from the path I once thought it would follow. However, that doesn't change my motivation or determination to reach and excel at my personal goals. My whole life I've endured a system that dictated what should be important to me, and while it's helped me learn the practical skills I need outside of an academic setting, I have a passion to grow further from what's expected of me, and so with much enthusiasm I look forward to attending college in which I hope to achieve more by constantly learning and expanding my personal knowledge.
As a highschool student we come up with many goals that we want to achieve each year. My three main goals for my junior year are to get good grades and maintain a good G.P.A. to stay active and play sports, and to start looking for colleges to apply for. Usually, it is hard to achieve all your own personal goals, especially if it involves working extra hard or doing other tedious activities.
I have many goals as an Athletic Training Student, and continuing my education is the biggest goal in order to be successful in my career and future goals. Eventually, I will earn a doctorate and go on to work at a professional level with a major league soccer team. I also aim to increase the knowledge and awareness of mental health within the field of athletic training.
When I was entering into High School, I tried to join as many clubs as I can, since I wanted not only to be superior in grades, but also extracurricular activities. So as usual, I joined Key Club. At first volunteering at the events was fun, but as I went to more events, it felt as if it was a chore. I did not feel any passion; it was rather tiresome.
For my academic goal, on the other hand, I am going to graduate high school and continue on to college. During high school, my plan is to take as many advanced classes as possible. I am going to
My educational goals are important to me. My goals are to come out of English 100 and be able to write any kind of memo, document, or resume; because I know someday every one of these writing projects will become useful.
In my household, from the time I was in Kindergarten, my mother expected academic excellence and nothing less. With her help I was an A student, Science fair grand champion, Young authors winner, Community helpers member, Young academic role model and more. At the age of eleven I lost my mother to Invasive Breast Cancer. Being academically successful was her goal for me and up to that point in her life she instilled the values of education and hard work ethic into me. At that young age I had to decide how I was going to continue being academically successful in school and what were my educational goals for myself. Since that day every school year I ask myself that same question, and this year being my senior year it’s more prominent than ever. My short term educational goals are: to apply and be admitted to 4 universities, maintain a 3.7 gpa, pass AP calc and English exam’s with a score of 4 or higher, and graduate with honors.
Everyone seemed to be having the time of their lives, the feeling of being free from high school finally sinking into their minds. Forgetting about all of their problems for the night, and letting loose. My mom always says that I’ll regret this when I grow up; not living the full high school experience. But what is really considered the “high school experience”? It is just going to parties, homecoming dances, prom, and being in relationships? How cliché.
Throughout my high school experience, I've been able to obtain knowledge that I can use to better my life. Some of the classes I've taken have been a blessing in disguise. For example, I never expected to learn as much as I did about writing and literature by just simply reading. Many of my teachers have pushed me to my limits and inspired me to think differently from my peers. In general my best English experience was reading "MacBeth" by William Shakespeare in Mr. Elwell's class, where I also realized I had many English skills to improve on.
My goal is to receive only honor roll grades and participating in additional clubs and activities. When I achieve this goal by putting my mind to it, I can even see myself becoming one of the highest ranked students in my class. I am very proud of myself this semester and can say for myself that I have improved but there are some things I wish I did better. I should of worked just a little harder at getting my work done every night and instead of constantly getting distracted by the things around me, I should of focused only on study for my
My first goal was to be more respectful to teachers. I can say I did a better job on that this year. I wasn't perfect, I still gave attitude and got sent down to the office twice for being disrespectful. I didn't get suspended this year and the two office referrals were during the first semester. After that I wasn't sent down to the office at all. This year was a better year for me when it came to behavior but the other two goals...they didn't go so well.
This year I have set many high goals for myself to become a good and skilled player on and off the field. Since I love playing so much, I play in the winter, summer, fall, and spring. One goal that I have set for this year is to practice developing skills on my own time. Another goal is to improve my
My first goal is my overall athletic goal to be the best quarterback in all of America in division 2. I have always had the goal to be a better quarterback than my older brother who played quarterback up until high school. He was a really good peewee quarterback and me
The next set of goal setting importance is my personal goals with the first being to over come the obstacles associated with returning to school.
My high school experience was a never ending rollercoaster. I have experienced more than what a teenager should, good or bad. From having my head hang low to the intense indentations from the dimples within my cheeks as I smile. Even though the outcomes in some situations were not predictable I always found a way for the result to end in a pleasing conclusion. When giving this assignment, it was assumed to be a self revealing activity.
