A wallet, or purse for some, is a precious item in which most people carry things more essential than money towards everyday life. If some people were to lose that portable safe, they may be offset for the rest of that day. The person without that wallet could be upset and depressed for awhile. Maybe something of great special value was in that wallet. This person could have these feelings for a long time, until they find their belongings by which case they are filled with joy.
I’ve been researching this car for the last three years, and now I finally have earned the opportunity to buy this car. Now what was it my dad was telling me? Oh that’s right, to not let him see me drooling over the car. I know that Jim told me he wants to sell his car for twenty-eight thousand five hundred dollars, but it seems a little steep.
I jumped out of the car with my two sisters and ran to the bathroom. When we left the bathroom, we walked back to the car. We saw that our dad was still putting gas in the car, so we went into the store to buy some sweets. I bought “warheads” that said extremely sour, and a bag of chips called “baked with fire” that looked like they would taste really hot. When we purchased our food, we walked back to the car.
We got out and then he asked me to open my trunk, and then asked a very confusing and ridiculous question at the time, "Do you have a gun or any other weapon in your vehicle?" I almost laughed at him, and then stopped, realizing I did have a pellet gun I accidentally left in my car. How he knew or why he cared I didn’t know, so I said "Yeah I have a b.b. gun under the front passenger seat," as I reached under and grabbed it for him. We then proceeded to his office, where a police officer was waiting for me.
In addition, I locked my keys in my car all of the time, and I needed a car with a code on the outside of it so I can receive my keys without calling a cop. I decided to ask my father what type of vehicle I should get. He told me that the most popular type of cars are the ones that are sponsored by On-Star. According to him, On-Star helps in many different ways. Therefore, knowing this, we started our venture to find the perfect car.
I had just got off work at 5pm and my co worker was outside smoking a cigarette and yelled out “go ahead and show me that you can really burnout”, as I got in my car, and of course I wouldn’t say no. I put my car in gear and took off and burned rubber in the empty parking lot, as I’m sliding out the parking lot I hear a loud pop, it’s my front passenger tire that popped and the next thing I knew I had no control of the car and ahead of me is a curb that leads into a shopping center but is about 10 feet down. At this point my car is in the air and the car lands nose first flipping the car upside down. I crawl out the car and realize I just totaled my mother’s car. Driving fast in the car I built is my favorite thing to do and it had got me in plenty of trouble but I felt as the rush was worth it.
Have you ever thought what it would be like to walk away from you car, even after you have locked it, and to not be able to see it or the things inside it ever again? Motor vehicle theft happens every day in every neighborhood. I never realized it prior to this assignment but I live with victims of crimes right in my own townhouse on school property. My housemate Anne was generous enough to tell me her story. As Anne recalls it her story begins last semester when she borrowed her sisters car to get back to school.

Expensive things need a lot of money, but people don’t have them, so they use credit cards to buy for that. According to the article “All That Glitters Is Not Gold” 32% of attendees who were at the auto exhibition bought a car and 56% of attendees reported they were going to buy a car in the near future. It shows that that people don’t have money, but they saw that other people bought the car, and they want it also. For example, my parents just last week bought a new car, because our old one broke. My dad said that everyone has big and new cars, so we need to buy a costly car like other people have.
