Personal Narrative: Growing With God

I feel like the last few years have been big for me! Growing with God is always so exciting and I get so pumped about it! The past couple years I have taken part in some incredible things! My last year of high school I was in a group with my friend called R Squared. We invited high schoolers to come out on Friday nights and just hangout! We incorporated Jesus into the hangouts too! We had bible studies with the kids and really just got to connect with them. Our number varied each week some weeks we would have 20 sum people and others we would have 5, but that didn't matter to us! What mattered was how we could make a difference in our community! This girl now attends our church back home with her mother. Before we met them they were non-believers. She even got baptized. We started that group to make a difference and to show God's powerful love! We my friend Tim Brown and I decided to start a bible study on what it looks like to be men of god. We went through a book and had talks. My friend Brandon joined us for this and he had many question. My best friend Brandon accepted Christ in his life and I watched him get baptized as well. It’s so awesome to see what God can do in someone! Also, to see your best friend get saved! Fast forward a little! Tim, Brandon, and I decided to start a youth group at our church back home! We really spent time cleaning up a room and making it the youth room! Tim currently is now the part time youth pastor there! He is doing a great job! We stay in contact and pray for each other! It’s so cool to be a leader and watch kids grow! I was able to spread my wings and take on a few lessons myself which really made me grow as a public speaker, but I also became more serious about God's word and the impact it has on someone! It’s
