This is about the time when me, and all my buddies went riding at 5 points and we did lots of hill climbs and raced to see who’s bike was faster of course I always lost because I have a four-wheeler and all the rest of my buddies have dirt bikes and dirt bikes are always faster than four- wheelers I’ve wrecked several times but the more you wreck the better you get at riding I go to 5 points just about every summer dirt bikes and four-wheelers is my favorite thing to do when I’m home I got two four-wheelers and two dirt bikes that’s just about what everybody dose where I live every day I go riding during the summer that’s why summer is my favorite time of the year I hate setting in the house so that’s why I’d rather be out riding dirt bikes
When riding dirt bikes or any type of off-road vehicle it is some of the funnest time you will ever have. Sometimes it’s just a time to have fun and hang out with your friends but the others time its for racing and be competitive.But it all come down to what you enjoy,I like to do both.This is can be fun with your family,you can go to race and be competitive,and the most funniest part is when you are going fast and you have to keep from wrecking and get hurt.
I woke up at six to shower and eat breakfast. We were out the door and 6:30 and off to Ashland, Nebraska. We had the hammer down only stopping in Ashland to grab three Red Bulls apiece. We chugged our energy drinks while driving a couple miles out of town to the raceway hoping to get awaken by the rush of the sugar. We parked our truck by our buddy Jacob after getting signed in and paying our entry fees. We made fun of Jacob for awhile for being such a die hard and having to be one of the first ones at the track. Setting up our canopy and unloading our bikes took about 5 minutes because we wanted to hurry up and walk the track. The track was a freaking mud pit. They had overwatered it. I was hoping that it would stay a little muddier after practice until the moto’s because I could out ride three-fourths of the guys in my class in the mud. After the track walk we all walked back to our trucks and got our gear on. The C riders were first to practice. The first kid to start up his bike just revved the piss out of it not letting it warm up like it should. Bicycling was an exciting experience for two reasons. First, it has allowed me to travel around the city. Second, it gives me a chance to hang out with my friends. I love bicycling, I think it is fabulous! I can now observe my city, the people that lived there, the architecture, and the trees and animals, etc. Sometimes in our life, we just need to slow down our pace. We're so used to rushing through life that we don't even know what we have missed, but It's hard to blame ourselves because we're busy about our jobs especially when we were living in the city. Handshoe had to get all of the tickets and drink bracelets. Next we got inside and Me, Landon, and Zach got a locker so we didn't have to carry around our bags all day. So the we go to our first ride of the day but Zach was to scared to get on anything so he just waited, we got on the Corkscrew, and it had a ton of twists and turns. So me and Landon were supposed to go on this ride called the Magnum, so i got into one of the cars and then i told Landon to come on and he said ha ha, no, and so i was stuck on this ride all by myself and i was kinda scared. During the week I had a certain training to and I would do that training just as it said. Every day during the week I would ride my bike for about twenty-five miles. I could feel my skin getting tanner, but I didn’t mind. I liked to feel the wind in my face, the smell of nature, and admired the view of the many different animals that would cross my path, such as cows, rabbits, deer, and many birds. I really enjoyed hearing the sound of the cow go “MOO”, it made my training much more entertaining and somehow eased my pain from my work out. Probably my favorite part was the speed. Each day I would get faster and see myself closer to my goal. I knew I could accomplish it, I knew I could do it. Every day I rode I rode with a purpose and motivation to win. My weekends were not for me anymore, they were for my training.
