Under the Rug It was a regular night when a guy named Ben was reading a book in the living room. He was in the middle of a sentence when he heard a CRASH in his bedroom. He put his book down for a minute or two and waited to see if it was him or it was something in his house. he didn’t hear anything else but silence so he picked up his book and started reading again,he didn’t hear anything for the rest of the night. The next morning he got up to make a cup of coffee. Ben was getting ready to go out to get the paper when he heard the same CRASH but it was not in the bedroom this time it was in the same room he was in. Ben was not very sure what it was or what it wants but it was very scary. It chased Ben out of the house and into the driveway. when Ben went back inside his house was a mess all the carpet was torn and all his food was scattered on the floor and the walls. Ben was in a very good mood UNTIL… he found his garden all messed up his flowers were all over the yard and his veggies had not little not big it was a size I can not explain very well. Get this Legend tells it the flowers and the veggies spelled the word GET OUT. GO AWAY. It scared ben he ran into the house and then the house was torn ripped and more the pictures were terrible the glass his whole house was ruined and then ben said I give up! The creature was in under the rug and in a very deep voice he said “GET OUT or something will happen to you or your grandchildren whatever is your choice” it said “Move out or lose a child what is it I will give you a 30 days move out or bad things will happen.” A month went by and the old man was still living in the house. The object appeared in the rug and the old man said “I am not moving I was here first and You can’t take it from me.” The voice spoke and said “I warned you”! and the whole neighborhood heard a yell but Ben was never to be seen

He hitched a ride to Oregon. He was pissed and mad. He fell asleep in the man's car on the way to Oregon. When he awoken he was offered some coffee and doughnuts. However, before eating them a peasant came through the windshield and killed the man. The car was wrecked and the boy was scared. He got out of the car and headed down the road. He then picked up by Hazel. She took him to her farm, fed him and cleaned him up and he was grateful for that. Hazel took the boy to the county fair.
