On May 10, 2005, I responded to The Dollar Store, at Oak Lake Mall reference Petit Theft. On arrival Security Officer Skip James contacted me. He said suspect Mary Jones was in the custody of mall security. James took me to a room near the mall office where Jones was located. Jones was seated at a table. The stolen merchandise was on the table beside her. Also on the table was her purse, and other personal items that she had in her possession at the time of the incident. James told me he followed Jones down the cosmetic aisle of The Dollar Store. He watched her put lipstick (priced at $15.00) in her purse. He saw her leave The Dollar Store and go to another store, JJ’s T’s. She took a T-shirt (priced at $15.00) off the rack and put it into
I allowed James R. Boucher to view each transaction recorded from the Wal-Mart store. James R. Boucher identified and confirmed that James Roy Boucher was the perpetrator in each transaction. Each transaction made by James Roy Boucher at the Wal-Mart store was a check stolen from the victim, James Frank Boucher.
On the 5th of October 1788 Mary, 11 and another girl Jane Whiting, 14 stole the frock, cap and tippet of an eight year old girl Jan Phillips. They fled the scene, leaving Jan in only her petticoats. Hurston reveals the couple’s relationship dynamics with the ensuing scene. Every Saturday, Joe tosses silver dollars inside the front door and engages his wife in a battle for candy kisses and other tidbits. He purchases the candy kisses from the market in Orlando. Hurston
store. When they entered, Jack stole a candy bar and three packs of gum while giving Diane two boxes of candy to put in her purse. The store owner sees them and runs to stop them.
Junior goes to his first school dance, and afterwards, his girlfriend, and a few of his friends go to a Denny’s to eat pancakes. He is poor and obviously cannot pay for the food, but he orders it anyway. Later that evening, his friend Roger finds out that he does not have enough money to pay. Instead of getting mad, Roger lends him forty dollars and goes on his way. When they get back to the school after having pancakes, Penelope, Junior’s girlfriend, finds out that he is poor and kisses him on the cheek.
Upon arrival I met with the complainant/victim, Maxe Cardon Pablo. Maxe advised that his bicycle was stolen from the front on the store. Maxe advised that his bicycle was a black and green mountain bike. Maxe was unable to provide any additional description or serial number for his bicycle. Maxe agreed to complete a voluntary statement form.
Roger was caught in the act of attempted robbery by Mrs. Jones, where she was grabbing the boy by his shirt and pushing him to the ground. With roger begging to be release, Mrs. Jones notices his dirty face-asking if he has anybody at ¨home to tell [him] to wash it¨ (Hughes). With Roger living alone, and having no family, he replies with a simple no; but in a turn of events, she replies and says, ¨then [your face] will get washed this evening¨ (Hughes). With this, one can conclude that Mrs. Jones cared, and felt possibly sad for Roger, since he was so desperate for money, that he attempted robbery; and has no one to tell him right from wrong. Furthermore, if a teenager were trying to rob someone, one would not simply act with the type of kindness like Mrs. Jones, and offer to help clean the thief's face; knowing he has no family, and therefore no one to guide him through the way he should look and act. Toward the end of the story, Roger confessed that he meant to steal her pocketbook in order to buy himself a pair of blue suede shoes, with this disappointing Mrs. Jones. After the two´s dinner Mrs. Jones prepared, she led Roger out of her home, handing him a ten dollar bill, saying ¨do not make the mistake of [stealing anybody´s pocketbook]-because shoes...like that will burn your feet¨ (Hughes). Due to Roger´s confession behind the ¨needed¨ money, Mrs. Jones could relate to his
“Who said anything about money?” Jefferson offered Alex his hand and helped him off the haystack. He led Alex to a small shack down the road. “Now all we have to do is wait.” And wait they did. For ten minutes nothing happened. Then, an old delivery van rambled down the road, stopping right in front of the shack. Thomas grabbed Alex’s arm and tugged him out of
”I don’t know Frank! Do you expect that men who abducted our boy left a business card? Three suits came to the door and asked to talk. Assuming they were salesmen I said no. I’m not sure who they were but they forced their way in, and I hit my head on the mantel. A couple of hours ago I found myself in an empty house. I don’t know what happened!“ Julia turns away as if ashamed.
A calm crisp breeze circled my body as I sat emerged in my thoughts, hopes, and memories. The rough bark on which I sat reminded me of the rough road many people have traveled, only to end with something no one in human form can contemplate.
The necklace was worth 12,000 dollars. The guy who they seen through the window was a very tall young white man. The guy was also very skinny. We never expected it to happen in this barbershop, because we were in a good part of town.

One day a little girl who lived in the Lehigh valley her whole life found out some news that was going to change her life forever, I was that little girl. It was the summer of 2011 and I was at Brookside Country Club a place that I spent most of my summer. I was eating dinner with my family after a long day of swimming with my friends. We had just ordered dessert and my dad told my brother and I to go in the parking lot and wait for him because he had something to tell us. At this moment I was scared I thought to myself oh no someone in my family had passed away. My dad came outside smiling so I soon realized it wasn’t something sad. I look at my older brother hoping his facial expression would help me come up with how I should be acting.
It was my fault, no one else’s, the time where failure hit harder than someone beating a drum. End of spring 2013 I found out that I was repeating the grade all over again, never have I imagined myself being in that position till that year. Leading up to this was beginning of ninth grade year, terrified knowing that I wasn't going to know anybody I was going to be alone. I went through so much emotionally it began to show the first few weeks of high school. Constantly having anxiety attacks where I end up staying the entire day in the office since I kept crying eyes out.
On a humid afternoon, I remember sitting on that old renovated school bus, wearing denim shorts and an old tee, completely soaked in mucky water from head to toe. When my mom told me about the weeklong adventure camp that was completely free for military dependent kids, I suppose I was unprepared for the level of adventuring in store. With her dad stationed in Alaska, my best friend Yarish also came with me to Clemson, South Carolina where it was held in July 2012.
