INT. bedroom - morning
NATASHA, 24, DEPRESSED, is sleeping in a king bed by herself. The alarm goes off. She wakes up, turns off the alarm. Lays in bed awake, staring at the ceiling.
An hour passes on the big clock on the wall behind the bed. Natasha finally gets out of bed. She walks to the drawer on the corner of the room. Opens the first drawer, takes a box from inside, opens the box. A silver handgun is inside the box.
Natasha takes the handgun, closes the box and puts it back on the drawer. She walks to the bed with the gun, she sits down, looks at the gun for a moment, takes a deep breath and places the gun on the bed. She walks to the bathroom.
int. bathroom - morning
On the sink, there's a bottle of prescription medicine. Natasha

From afar, we see Natasha walking in the store, talking to a WOMAN and leaving the boxes. She walks back to the car.
INT. CAR - MORNING
Natasha drives to a park. She parks her car in the streets, and goes to the park with the plastic bag with food.
ext. park - morning
Natasha is walking around, she sees a HOMELESS MAN sleeping. She takes some of the food from the plastic bag and puts by his side.
She keeps walking and sees another HOMELESS MAN with a dog, she goes to them and gives the man some of the food, she pets his dog and smiles.
Natasha goes to a food truck, buys a hot dog and sits in a bench in the park. She slowly eats her hot dog. Every bite she closes her eyes and enjoys.
She watches the PEOPLE passing in front of her.
A HOMELESS WOMAN is walking with a cart full of trash, Natasha gives the woman the plastic bag with food, the woman looks inside the bag and sees the food, she smiles at Natasha.
Natasha goes back to her car.
int. car - afternoon
She drives to an old bookstore. Picks up the box with books from the back sit and walks to the bookstore.
int. old bookstore - afternoon
From afar we watch her going in, talking to a MAN, giving him the box and leaving.

She writes on the sand, help, and then she passes her hand in what she wrote, making the word disappear from the sand.
Natasha leaves the playground. She walks back to her apartment.
INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Natasha walks in her apartment with her shoes in her hands. She leaves her shoes on the floor and goes to the kitchen.
int. kitchen - night
Natasha takes a red label bottle that was hiding inside a cabinet. She leaves the apartment with the bottle and her handbag.
ext. rooftop - night
Natasha gets to the rooftop of her building, she sits in a chair, puts the handbag on the ground and holds the bottle. She looks at the city, all the buildings with with lights on, the sound of ambulances and cars.
She opens the bottle and starts drinking. When half the bottle is empty the sun starts to come out.
EXT. ROOFTOP - MORNING
Natasha takes the gun from her handbag, she gets up from the chair and watches the sunrise.
She puts the gun in her head, closes her eyes, takes a deep breath and pulls the trigger.

When Robert reaches Bailleul and stays the first night in a hotel, he immediately passes out in his room. He wakes once wondering what time it is the remembers the watch Barbara bought him. Although it is 1:30 Robert falls back asleep. He then wakes up later wondering if he has slept through an entire day; he gets up showers and makes way for Desole, this is a housing facility for the mentally ill as well as soldiers. While taking a shower the nurses and other inmates leave the room and turn off the light. Robert senses he is not alone, and asks “who’s there?” nobody replies, but he hears the sound of someone breathing. He is then approached by what seems like four men and is raped. Before the rapists leave Robert hears them say not to take any money or that will give their identities away, revealing to Robert that it was soldiers who committed the act.
I say goodbye to the friendly couple, knowing it’s likely I’ll never see then again. That’s how it is at the laundromat I guess. You meet people, pass the time, and then you all go your separate ways. I wonder out loud, as I go, if the pyjama lady will remember to come back for her clothes.
