Personal Narrative: An Important Role In The Soccer Team

Ever since i was a toddler, my dream has always been to be able to play soccer at the next level. Either to be given the opportunity to participate in a collegiate or a professional level team. High school has been good to me these past couple of years, followed by several surprises and accomplishments. According to my coaches and trainers, my hard work and dedication is what really helped me the most on successfully becoming an important role in the team. Ever since I began participating with the soccer team, everybody was impressed on how good my skills and the way I would push everyone around instead of them pushing me since i was smaller, the seniors would call me out saying and telling everybody on how I would have a great future or become one of the good players the school would have. Unfortunately the game was not what the team expected. Sadly we lost the state final. Sophmore year came around and it wasnt as good as my first year, we made a good season but at the end all the effort was thrown into the trash by two of my teammates by getting a red card and costing us the first playoff game. We had the same feeling as when we went to state, all the sacrifices for nothing.
