The chance to go somewhere I have never been before. An experience of a life time. It is a place like no other. Paradise, as some people would call it. Ocean breeze, salty air, and beautiful flowers are everywhere. Unforgettable sunsets and palm trees. A place that many people will never have the chance to visit. Hawaii. When you get an opportunity that is once in a life time take it. Take a chance, try new things, learn responsibility, and gain new experiences. It was the summer going into my sophomore year. One of my close friends brought up this bizarre idea of taking a vacation together. She had told me stories about all the times she had been to Hawaii because her grandma had lived there. A 350 dollar round trip to Hawaii was too good to pass up. The countdown began. It was finally June and we were ready to get on the plane. A five hour flight to California and then another three hours to Hawaii. We were finally there. All I could smell were flowers and all I could see were clear rainbow filled skies when we landed. It was odd how every day we were there it would rain for about ten minutes then the skies would be clear with rainbows. It was pure beauty there, like nowhere else I had ever seen before. We did so many different things while we were there. First we went to Bubba Gumps for my first time. It was in a huge three leveled mall right on the beach. We went to the Waikiki beach, also my first time seeing the ocean. We traveled all around on the island, through mountains of palm trees and traffic everywhere we went. We went to an amazing luau, experienced parasailing, tried shrimp from a food truck, went to an unforgettable doughnut shop, road around on a moped to get to the grocery store, visited Pearl Harbor, played some interesting video games at Dave and Busters, and my favorite and last
