Three specific stations can influence the outlook I have of my own self perceived identity: How others see you might not be who you are, stereotypes regarding race, and protecting our identity to the fullest. In today’s society, how others view you from the external part of what they can see, might not always be accurately who you really are as a person. In the Chris Brown case, the mistake he made from the Rihanna beating caused people to round up conclusions about him, resulting in society seeing him as a monster, but in all he is a human being that makes mistakes because its human nature and things like this happen. Its called identity theft. Everyday millions of americans have their identity stolen. When criminals take and use customers direct information like social security numbers and credit card numbers to make purchases underhandedly, this is known as identity theft. Every year businesses and corporations lose billions of dollars from this. In the movie clip, there was a scene where a man was openly giving out his personal identity to someone he thought was one person but it was the exact opposite on the other line. It was a huge mistake and it almost ruined his whole career. This incident caused him to be more alert and aware of who his gives his personal information to. I remember losing my bank card and when me and my mom checked the balance of it, there was less money on the card than it was before. We quickly knew to cut off the system and report this immediately.
