Education is one of reason why my quality of life is high. Education makes my quality of life high because I have many sources where I could get my education from so, when I grow up I could have a job. There’s Some people in this world are not blessed with a great life and they are not lucky enough to get an education. Many people don't appreciate living in such an amazing country. We have many benefits that other countries don't have the privilege of having. Tomson describes the opportunities we have in Canada very well. I don't really like how he describes Australia compared to Canada. He shouldn't have described it as he did; because it made it seem like Australia isn't as beautiful as Canada, which it is. Australia is also very beautiful in its own way, such as how the desert's waves remind you
Someday four years ago, a major decision transformed my life forever. When I first time heard this news which is move to Canada, I was shocked. Before I coming to Canada, I was a confident, optimistic and introverted person. Also, my life in my home country was one of habitual routine: same places, same people, same food and same language. Great changes happened after I arrived in Canada. ALL the unfamiliar things were made me uncomfortable, I lost intimate relatives, familiar surroundings, close friends and the ability to communicate readily.
Bonjour, la famille! I know that around this time that we are supposed to be moving to a different house, but I wanted to let you know that maybe it could be possible if we move to a different country. I know this sounds like a lot, and the answer is probably no, because there would be so much for us to have to get used to. But I was thinking… what if we moved to Canada? It would be closest to the United States, so we could get passports & come visit family and friends. Also, I learned about this thing in Civics called Gross Domestic Product (GPD). It is the calculation of the Market values. The Gross Domestic product for Canada is approximately $1.573 trillion (2015 est.). Wow! That’s a lot! The Gross Domestic Product, though, per capita,
Since the day Canada was created the standards of living have been constantly changing. There have been ups and downs in Canadian Standard of Living, but in my opinion, the system we have today is nearly perfect. Although I believe that no one will ever create a perfect system, mainly because of the differences in opinions. Not a single country in the world has the standard of living that in my opinions is ideal. We can look at other countries such as: Russia, Holland, or China. Although these countries have better standards of living then Canadians in some areas like: education, clothing, health system, etc. Each of them has disadvantages like: Russia has poor economy, Holland has high taxes, and China is overpopulated. I believe that current Canadian Standard of living creates a line higher then medium in the World Standard of Living.
One reason why I am proud to be Canadian is that we are one of the few countries that allow people to live relatively freely. Canadians are glad to have the privilege of many rights and freedoms. For example, we have the freedom of speech whereas in other countries, one might get shot for saying the wrong thing. There is also the charter of rights and freedoms which enable Canadians to live free and happy lives. Canadians also have a freedom of choice. They can make their own decisions and decide how they want to live. Furthermore, the opinion of all people is taken into account by the government. The laws and rules in Canada’s democracy are for the benefit of the people. Compared to countries like North Korea where people cannot even travel, I think Canadians have gotten a pretty good deal for their rights and freedoms.
Growing up in Canada around a variety of remarkable cultures has helped me see the world in a different way. It gives me a more visual, mental, and emotional way being able to view the world. Being around the multicultural nature of this country has not only led me to learn more about other cultures but has helped me mold the culture I grew up around at home in my individual way. As I mature I have come to realize how growing up around many cultures and myparentsPakistani culture has helped “shaped the sight of my own particular eyes” from those of my parents and ancestors.
But she wonders if there is something else other than the spirit of citizenship that could hold the Canadians together. Are there values commonly shared by the Canadians? Chong has found out solution for these questions, and she states, “What sets Canadian society apart from others is that ours is an inclusive society” (Chong, 2015. P. 8). Canadian immigration laws are forward-looking than many other countries, because the Canadian immigrants and the naturalized citizens enjoy status. Canadians understand the importance of “Unity in Diversity”. The inclusiveness is the bridge that connects the Canadians, and this bridge is tempered with the values like tolerance, fairness, understanding and
Canada has had both good and bad moments. We are seen now as a middle power country nothing too dangerous or exciting happening here. We may be seen now as a nation associated with peace and prosperity and work to maintain those titles, but we have a dark past of war and suffering that defines us.
Canada is a great country to live in because we have healthcare. When I got sick I went to the hospital and my parents did not have to pay for my visit. It explains how the healthcare helps kids like me.In Canada, health care coverage stays with you for your entire life. Free health care is available for anyone
Many events have occurred in my life, although a few have changed my life to how it is today. Growing up I realized how moving to Canada, coming to Milton and getting a baby sister are moments which have had a significant impact on my life. They showed me a completely different atmosphere, got my work recognized and made me more mature, thus, helping me get countless new opportunities and responsibilities.
People with more education have better physical and mental health; also education helps improve the overall quality of people’s lives. By helping people get better jobs, it reduces financial worries. It builds self-esteem, feeling of being in control; it also makes them critically aware of media messages about health. It contributes to health behaviors, such as moderate drinking, anti-smoking, according to the Institute of education at the University of London (Dec. 2004). As stated earlier, education reduces inequalities, creates intolerance, build social cohesion and boost the health of whole communities.
Canada is a great place to live, because it is very diverse. country. The sand is a sand. It is multicultural, it’s considered a Melting Pot. Many people from many nations come together to make this country special and unique to us.
An education is something that one can keep for a lifetime. Acquiring a good education can affect one’s personal life, one’s community, and one’s entire generation.
My health is of great importance to me. I firmly believe that having good health is imperative for a happy life. Having bad health can wreck havoc in one’s daily life. I know from personal experience because it has been happening to me these past few weeks. I’m thankfully, recovering as time passes, but I can contribute most of the misery I went through due to lack of sleep. I’ve only experienced these awful symptoms for about a short amount of time, but it’s probably the worst torment I’ve ever experienced in my life to this date. I feel so much happier now because my symptoms are improving. Having good health makes life much more bearable, and now I’m able to do my daily activities with much more ease. Taking care of my body is probably the best thing I can do for myself because it will keep me happy in both the short term, and long term.
