The Harp

Most people won’t believe this, but monsters, gods, and mythical creatures exist. Crazy, right? I mean, when I was little I wanted to ride a pegasus, but my mom told me that pegasus don’t exist. But after all that has happened, now I know she was just trying to protect me. My mom told me lies to keep me safe, just because I was different from normal kids. Now, I know why she lied to me. It was because I’m a half-blood.

Half-blood is the same as demigod, a person with powers like gods, but don’t have full powers. Also, demigod means that they’re half human and half god. People think that having powers is awesome but having powers has its many downfalls. For example, most every demigod has ADHD, dyslexia, and real life monsters trying to kill you. A satyr is a half goat and half human. This satyr happens to be my best friend Grover Underwood, the one who helped go to Camp Half-Blood. He has the upper body of a human and the legs of a goat. The dog beside him is one of Artemis’s hunting dogs. A dog that can even hunt lions.

So it’s true he thought, it’s really true. Grover picks up one of Artemis’s hunting dog. He jumps rock to rock until he is right in front of the harp. He put down the dog and grabbed the harp. Then, a blonde haired and blue eyed boy appeared behind them. It was Luke Castellan who is the son of Hermes, and Percy’s enemy.

“I’ll be needing you guys for awhile.” Luke says as he grabs them and teleports
