As a highly motivated, energetic and inquisitive natured individual who possesses well-developed communication skills to effectively interact with people from diverse backgrounds, I believe I would be an asset to any employer who respects loyalty and responsibility. Having kept an impeccable record during school and college, my attendance and punctuality is guaranteed. Customers who were thinking of selling their cars would enter an online quote for themselves, input their vehicle description e.g. age, mileage, colour, model etc. and also their contact details. Me as Ant’s representative would pursue any quote in a good lively manner, that has been given by us and ask the customer if they were happy with the quote they received. Ant Marketing has been a great work experience for me as I have developed many skills such as a clear and friendly phone voice, good teamwork skills, ability to work unsupervised and under pressure. Overall, working for Ant was a great work experience where I have developed new and enriched present skills. This experience gave me the opportunity to interact with customers on a one to one basis in a professional manner. The skills I gained from this experience were how to effectively deal with different customers from various backgrounds. I had to use both verbal and non-verbal communication to overcome the language barriers. work experience at my secondary school was a lot easier as I had developed skills such as keyboard skills (32 WPM), phone manner, ability to handle complex calls and situations at Darnall Advisory Service so my previous work experience was very beneficial.     I grew up in a household where education was seen as a form of self-improvement and empowerment. Being raised in rural Central California by two Filipino immigrants who had nothing more than a high school education, my family did not have an educated or intellectual history I could look up to. That is, until my mother decided to get a college education at the age of 45. I must have been in middle school at the time, before which the word “college” was never really spoken or talked about and I could honestly say I only had a vague idea of what it even was.
