This class has given me a lot of information to make my other classes easier to pass. The three skills that have helped me the most are goal setting, prioritizing and persisting. I feel like these skills have made class much easier. With that being said I would like tell you more about this skilled and tell you how they have made a difference in my education

Goal setting has probably been the most helpful technique I have gained from taking improvement of study this semester. I have learned that there are many ways to set goals for academics. It has the same end result as goal setting but it offers a different way of approaching it. I use prioritizing in my classes by deciding and making choices on what need to be done first and what can wait without procrastinating. One way I keep up with my schedule and my tests is using a calendar hanging next to my door so I see it every morning. On that calendar, I have put all my test dates on it and time frames that I need to sit down and spend time studying.

Last but not least, I use persisting. Persisting is pushing through a hard or tough time when you honestly do not want to do school work or take a test that needs to be done. The way I keep persisting through studying is by making it a game. I like to make flash cards with the question on one side and answer on another, this gives me something new to look at and helps me stay interested in what I am learning.

I am very glad I was introduced to these three skills. They have made the semester a lot easier for me to pass my classes. I plan to use these skills even more frequently not just in the classroom but also in life. Theses skill will carry me a long way just like they will carry other students if they use them correctly.
