Imagine a December morning in Hawaii. A warm rain sprinkles over the island. Tropical waves crash into the shore. Suddenly, you here a roaring noise coming from above. You slowly peak out your window, and see a dozen Japanese fighter planes fly over your head. A feeling of fear swiftly floods over you. The planes are headed straight for Pearl Harbor. The attack on Pearl Harbor was a terrible tragedy that changed World War 2 and would change the course of history forever. The bombing of Pearl Harbor was a very hectic day in the United States .Pearl Harbor is a U.S. naval base in Hawaii. The attack on Pearl Harbor occurred December 7th, 1941 (Rosenberg) The Japanese planned their attack extremely well. They chose a Sunday to attack the harbor because they thought that many of the Americans and soldiers would be more relaxed and not as aware of what was going on (Rosenberg). They were right.
