On the morning of December 7th, 1941 America was shocked about what had just happened to its country. And more shocked about what had happened in Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor was being attacked by the Imperial Navy, that was based out of Japan. Before the attacks that happened on Pearl Harbor, Japan has been speaking to the United States about prolonged peace, hope, and prosperity between the United States and Japan. But that dream of peace and prosperity came to a crashing halt on the morning of the attacks on Pearl Harbor. In this essay you're about hear from the accounts of the United States military, the Japanese military, the medics, and the Commander of both the United States military, and Japan. And also they’re view of Pearl Harbor. As things started to unravel for the United States Military, mostly for the Navy, they had to do what they had to do in order to protect their citizens, and mostly, the personnel who were working in or around Pearl Harbor. Getting a common interest is essentially learning how to understand people, but to much broader scale. When I meet a new friend for example, you need to get to know them, understand them, see what they like and dislike. Then you keep that relationship ongoing and long lasting. If two countries were able to do that with each other, wouldn’t that just be wonderful? I mean two countries that actually finally get along with each other would just be great. If we considered doing that, maybe the 300,000 lives lost on the Pearl Harbor attacks wouldn’t have never happened. To Those who lost their lives on Pearl Harbor, may you rest in peace. And may your family come to peace with the loss of your life. You will never be forgotten.
