Pax Romana was the period when the Roman Empire was considered to be at its peak. It was the largest in terms of land area during this time.1 The Roman Empire had many advances in architecture during this period of peace, which grew the empire in more ways than size.

While the Romans main use of technology was to show their nationalism, the Han used it more for necessity. The Han used things such as waterways or other tools for the benefits it provided to farming. On the other hand Rome used technology in ways that they didn't technically need, but more so wanted.

Rome was transformed from a republic to an empire due to the corruption of its own leaders. The fighting for power between the senators caused the republic to go into anarchy. This allowed Caesar to be brought to power. Although he was not emperor for long he was the start of an empire.

The fall of the Roman Empire had many causes but one of the most impactful causes was the overthrow of Romulus by Germanic leader Odoacer. This was the end of the western Roman Empire because he did not keep the order that the Roman emperors did. …show more content…
