Hypothesis: There is no relation between perceived parental acceptance rejection and the disruptive behavior of children. Objectives: The main aim of the study is to examine whether the disruptive behaviors of children in the classroom are due to their perceived parental acceptance or rejection. Methodology Operational Definition: Parental acceptance can be defined as the affection, concern, approval and support that parents express towards their children. Acceptance can be physical and verbal. Physical expression incorporates embracing, caressing, stroking, affirming looks, and other such endorsements. Physical neglect can include not providing adequate food, clothing, appropriate medical care, supervision, or proper weather protection (heating or coats) to the child. Educational neglect can include failure to provide appropriate schooling or special educational needs, allowing excessive truancies, to the child. Psychological neglect is the lack of any emotional support and love, never attending to the child, spousal abuse, or drug and alcohol abuse including allowing the child to participate in drug and alcohol use.

Children can also respond with different behaviors that are either short term and can develop into long term habits or parts of their personality. Authoritative is when the parents give certain limits and restrictions but keep it to a minimum and are usually pretty reasonable, providing reasoning for their decisions. This type of parenting style expresses tenderness and warmth. When the rules come into conflict with something, authoritative parents bend the rule more often than other types of parents.
