A research in India was conducted; a number of intentions were found to be affecting the consumer purchasing decision. Stated, consumer gave least attention to advertisements, the quality and cheap price of new products directed to brand switching. Brand loyalty is also an obvious influence since most respondents use the same brand for a longer period of time. Consumers also gave importance to unique ingredients of soap followed by effect on skin and price (Sarma and Pratap, 2011).
In the latest study entitled: “Philippine Households’ FMCG Spending”, sixty-two (62) percent of the respondents evaluate products with higher price as having the higher quality. Eighty-two (82) percent of them purchase trusted and well-known brands (Trinidad, 2012).
In the domestic condition, a study was conducted at Cebu, Philippines with regards to the factors that affect the buying decision of consumers. The researchers found that couples took a planned purchase decision on household needs which took favor of the children’s needs. This joint buying decision improved the couple’s relationship since it requires communication and consultation with all the members’ preferred brand (Salas, 2011).
This study would be a great help to the improvement of products and to the intelligence of product developers. It may also serve as a source of information to managers, salespersons, and business people which could result to an increase in the commercial standing of the country. (100%)

Even those people who purchase product online still gather information as many as they can in order to be convinced to purchase the product since every consumer has different criteria on the things that he or she needed to purchase and the quality is always present. This only provide us that even through online, the quality of a product should still be measured and should still be in accordance with the needs of the consumer. But it can’t still denied that those target who can’t find their time to go to the mall to buy the things they needed, would prefer to go online shopping. Online shopping is a great help for those people who can’t find time to go to the mall to buy the things they need when it’s available online, so customers get satisfied on what they get including the quality (Chung-Hoon Park, et. al.2003).
