Being a soldier who is experiencing PTSD, it boggles the mind how they live their life as one.The feeling to be in prison from his or her own will to be a normal human being, veterans has troubles to overcome it. Enduring the stress, but by in their mind, it haunts them. PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder) is a condition that fails to recover from a traumatic experience. Fighting fatigue causes stress to the soldiers, and moreover, it infects the mind that they are murderers instead of serving the country. It leaves them with regret and anxiety, which follows them to the best option, suicide. PTSD soldiers believe it is best to repay for those who have killed during the war. Songs and Poems were created to represent the struggles and to show their respect to those who have PTSD. “But you see it's not me. It's not my family. In your head, in your head, they are fighting. We must be mistaken…” (Line 6 through 21. Zombies, by Cranberries.) The word “zombies” represents the mind of how chaotic the war can be. It also hints that Soldiers were only following orders. The military bases and schools taught them to follow orders of their commanders. However, the after effect may lead them to think they are murders rather than serving in the country. Which the minority believe it may be the case. It varies by how graphic it can be on the battlefield. “Maybe I'm broken. Maybe the solvent in my blood has been denied. Slip of a potion, feeling it poisoning the bounty in my mind... I don't wanna talk about this talk about with you. Cause all you ever talk about is what I ought to do.I know… I'm losing my self-control. Don't wanna talk…. Don't wanna talk about it... Running on empty. Talkabout represents the emotions of lonesome and how tiring it can be. Nevertheless, it is not simple to comprehend how it feels or it's difficult to express the fear. “I lost my soul In that war. All That Is Left of Me, by Jude Kyrie. ) From this poem, it can deprive the emotion of any sort of pleasure. Especially when the depression forces the mind to limit all possible good outcomes for her or him.
