Researchers found that Echinacea is herbal medicine that is made out of plants and other herbs are added. Echinacea medicine in made in many different ways due to various individuals. The common use for this medicine is for the usual cold; this medicine happens to be used a lot in North America and Europe. As you know there are symptoms related with all and once you begin taking the medicine you always tend to loose some symptoms slowly as your body begins to recover. There are always side effects with each medicine and so with Echinacea, children experience to have rash on their bodies. The way that the Echinacea was tested was through a randomized controlled trial, so there were 24 double-blinded trials set. In this experiment there were a total of 4631 participants in the beginning, which included the 33 comparisons of both the Echinacea and the placebo. As the trials went on many people decided to drop out of the experiment due to adverse reasons. At the end of the effect there were a total of seven treatment trials, which showed the data of the cold though only one indicated a major effect of Echinacea over the placebo. In conclusion, Echinacea didn’t show a dramatic difference in reducing illnesses, though almost all prevention trials aimed in the same way of small preventative effects. Echinacea is a known to be an herbal preparation that is often used in the United States to cure the common cold. The way that this experiment was tested was with 322 articles, meaning that the data was observed that was collected from these articles.
