2.0 Overview of Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) According to (O. Dussell et al., 1999), Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) is a portable computer system that let user store contact number and address in a database. User able assigns task or information on digital calendar with Personal Digital Assistant too. With evolution on Personal Digital Assistant, wireless communication link is developed which allow it act as a portable facsimile device. Same with current smartphone, a Personal Digital Assistant also provide Global Positioning System (GPS). 2.1 Type of Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) in Market With the research in (Ebay, 2016), there is still several type of Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) is available in market. HP, Sony, Palm, Tapwave, Psion, PalmOne and Toshiba have selling Personal Digital Assistant to customer. Most of the Personal Digital Assistant is touchscreen but some are not. HP provide two PDA such as iPaq 210 and iPaq 111, both of them has same function but iPaq 210 had more function such as provide Microsoft Office like word, excel and so on. Records is grouped by databases, and database is analogous to a file but data is divide into several records other than creating inside Random Access Memory (RAM) and write it out to storage. With Palm OS, the operating system is has contain an event loop. Event loop will execute if the operating system start a normal launch. For application, the event loop may not execute within but other launch codes. The function of Palm OS which group and work together is called as managers.
