Simply put, Orlando is the most popular tourist destination in the United States. Visit Orlando, the city's tourism association, reports that over 62 million people visited Orlando in 2014, setting a national tourism record. Tourism is the biggest industry in the city, and its largest employer.

Much of that tourism is driven by the city's status as the Theme Park Capital of the World. The big four flagship properties are the Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando, and Legoland Florida.
